Success in the thermoform industry, as it is in any manufacturing subsector, depends on quality more than anything else. Plastic packaging exporter M.V.S. Trading believes that what made it one of Thailand’s strongest companies are its adherence to the highest quality standards, genuine care for customers’ needs and rapport with clients, suppliers and distributors.

“We may not be able to compete with China in terms of pricing for our plastic packaging products, but we can guarantee maximum quality assurance with testing and certification from various countries,” says assistant manager Chonnicha Eawsivikul.

Catering to customers from retailers to the food sector, which is its biggest client base, M.V.S. also manufactures packaging for electronics, toys, cosmetics, agriculture and anything that requires plastic packaging. A specialist with an international reputation spanning markets such as the United States, Britain and Australia, the company caters to big brands such as KFC, Charoen Pokphand, Betagro and Panasonic.

“We do our best to accept every client that comes to us with a specific request – even if it looks impossible at first,” Chonnicha says. “From time to time, we also partner with universities and we welcome research and development partnerships for innovation.”

M.V.S. has a long-term supplier and a provider in China for a specific kind of plastic that can help increase opportunities for competition. The company is actively looking for new kinds of materials and clients in the B2B and B2C segments. M.V.S. also aims to add more hi-tech equipment to make sure that it can meet all client needs in the future. Apart from these key developments, new partners can look forward to the company’s plans of expanding the export segment to the Cambodia-Laos-Myanmar-Vietnam region.
