Vacheron Constantin launches Fiftysix collection with stylish celebration

Benjamin Clementine performs for guests at the Abbey Road Studios at the launch of Vacheron Constantin’s Fiftysix collection.

It was a night of classic Swiss elegance mixed with British glamour in early September when Vacheron Constantin celebrated the launch of its Fiftysix collection at London’s legendary Abbey Road Studios.

Guests were treated to an exclusive performance of the song Eternity by British singer-songwriter Benjamin Clementine. Clementine is also one of the new faces for the brand’s communications campaign, titled “One of Not Many”.

The song was produced by Vacheron Constantin in collaboration with Abbey Road Studios as part of their new creative venture. The Beatles, Pink Floyd and Kanye West have all recorded in the legendary studios.

The new Fiftysix collection, introduced at SIHH this year, boasts a retro-contemporary style fit for everyday wear. It is the modern re-interpretation of the maison’s iconic Ref 6073, launched in 1956. All the models in the collection feature self-winding movements, a transparent caseback and a new Maltese cross-shaped open-worked oscillating weight.

For the first time, the maison is offering a classic collection in pink gold and steel versions. A tourbillon version was introduced during the launch on September 11, expanding the Fiftysix family to four models: date, day-date, complete calendar with moonphase, and tourbillon.
