Aside from being renowned industry leaders, Garuda Indonesia, Japan Airlines, Cathay Pacific and Singapore Airlines have one other thing in common: they all rely on the top-notch culinary expertise of Aerofood ACS for their in-flight catering needs. Elevating onboard food and beverage to new heights, Aerofood ACS whips up high-quality and delectable meals that add a delicious touch to the whole flight experience.

Having established its name in the airline catering business, Aerofood ACS expanded its scope to include cruise ships, health care facilities and industrial locations such as oil, gas and mining sites. Aerofood ACS also offers premium banquet catering for official royal functions and embassy events.

“We can do so much more than just food by providing the entire support service around food delivery,” says Bambang Sujatmiko, president and CEO.

Formerly known as Aerowisata Catering Services, Aerofood ACS is part of the Garuda Indonesia Group. In its 42-year history, the company has built comprehensive expertise in catering operating systems, logistics, inventory and distribution.

With nine company-owned kitchens and 52 run by accredited third-party providers across key Indonesian cities, plus 17 international stations for servicing Garuda, Aerofood ACS has ample capacity to provide high volumes of meals for its customers. From 40 million meals delivered last year, Aerofood ACS aims to raise the number to 49 million this year as demand from health care and industrial customers increases.

Aerofood ACS did not get to where it is today without committing to quality and safety. The company’s diversified food offerings pass through rigorous quality control and risk management measures before leaving the kitchen to ensure that they are appetising and safe to eat.

Aside from its catering segment and a laundry business for airlines and hotels, Aerofood ACS is exploring other opportunities that could help it respond better to its customers’ needs.

“We aim to be the leading premium quality food and services provider in the Asean region,” Sujatmiko says.
