While most logistics companies merely provide warehousing and transport, Linc Group adds value by transforming clients’ supply chain challenges into their competitive advantage.

“The key lies in understanding not only the clients’ logistics difficulties, but their entire operations, including their objectives and visions, which our powerful and effective solutions help them achieve,” says Hans Leo, group CEO and president. “We offer a holistic approach – integrating consulting, designing, planning and implementation capabilities – to pursue flexibility, accuracy, visibility, monitoring and reporting on behalf of our customers.”

With experience spanning decades combined with strong asset-based services and advanced technologies, Linc proactively manages the supply chain to reduce cycle time and variability in industries ranging from infrastructure to fast-moving consumer goods, banking, automotive and energy.

Driven by its own customers’ evolving needs, Linc has expanded to offer comprehensive supply chain services – from warehousing, shipping, freight forwarding and custom brokerage, to distribution and inventory management and liquid bulk storage tank. Emphasising the importance of continuous innovation, it also provides supply chain information technology solutions and comprehensive supply chain training and education.

This edge has also inspired Linc to move into e-commerce through 8commerce.com, which enables end-to-end e-commerce, specialising in e-commerce development, warehouse and last mile fulfilment, store operations and multichannel management, and performance marketing. Launched in February, 8commerce.com is projected to tap Indonesia’s potential to grow its e-commerce retail spending – estimated at only 1 per cent – by at least 1,000 per cent over the next few years.

“Linc aims to be the local partner of choice in providing long-term supply chain solutions, especially amid the Asean Economic Community integration and the increasing interest for Asian and international business leaders looking into Indonesia for opportunities,” Leo says. “As our customers pursue growth in the international market, we are also broadening our networks to become a global name in supply chain.”
