Excavators can do more in less time with engcon's tiltrotators

Excavators have been indispensable construction machineries since their invention more than a century ago, but with the advent of engcon's cutting-edge tiltrotators, the capabilities of the heavy equipment have expanded far beyond excavation. Serving as the excavator's wrist, tiltrotators allow the machine to tilt and rotate work tools. Its hydraulic quick hitch makes it possible to safely switch between tools and attachments on the excavator faster.

A frontrunner in the manufacture of the rotating hydraulic tool for excavators and backhoes, engcon developed and broadened the tiltrotator's application to include construction, pipe-laying, road-building and landscaping. Compatible with machinery by any brand, including Caterpillar, Komatsu and LiuGong, engcon's tiltrotators make work easier and faster by as much as 30 per cent, significantly cutting down construction costs.

"Less machines, less time and less manpower are needed, so the return on investment is quick," CEO Krister Blomgren says. "The benefits of using our tiltrotators seem too good to be true."

Offering complete solutions with its range of tools and attachments that optimise the tiltrotator's versatility, the engcon system provides end users a clear advantage. The system comes with complementary equipment that ensures ease of use and efficiency. The company also designs the tools in collaboration with end users, putting emphasis on customer engagement.

Now on its 25th year of quality innovation, engcon maintains several production units across the Nordic region and outlets in Germany, Britain, France and the Netherlands. It is looking to gain ground in other regions, such as Asia and North America, where tiltrotators are not yet as commonly used. Seeing opportunities opened by Asia's construction boom, engcon seeks dealers who understand the potential of marketing tiltrotators.

"We are ahead of competitors, and we are on the lookout for more authorised service partners to train," Blomgren says. "What we need are messiahs who believe in the product and are able to see the evident benefits that it brings."
