Masters champion Sergio Garcia set to make his Hong Kong Open debut
Spain’s world number five and defending champion Sam Brazel from Australia confirmed for November’s US$2 million co-sanctioned event at Hong Kong Golf Club

The world number five from Spain beat former Hong Kong Open champion Justin Rose in a play-off at Augusta in April to finally claim a major title at the 74th attempt.
The 37-year-old 13-time European Tour champion is also a six-time Ryder Cup winner.
“I know from speaking to a lot of players on the tour that the UBS Hong Kong Open is a great tournament and I can’t wait to play at Hong Kong Golf Club,” said Garcia.
“I hear the course is a brilliant layout that requires a lot of shot making and imagination which should suit me a lot if I can play well.”
Australia’s Sam Brazel will also return to defend his title at the US$2 million event, which is one of the last events on the 2017 Asian Tour schedule and the first on the 2018 European Tour calendar.
This year’s Hong Kong Open takes place between 23-26 November, with free entry for spectators at Hong Kong Golf Club for the first two days.
