Racing Incident Report
Race Nine: (718) - GRAHAM HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters
KUNG FU FIGHTER began only fairly.
SEVENTH SEA also began only fairly and then lost ground when steadied away from the heels of SMART LEADER which shifted out.
After this, SEVENTH SEA was shifted across behind runners.
From a wide barrier, HARDLY SWEARS was steadied in the early stages to obtain cover.
After the 1000 Metres, SEVENTH SEA travelled keenly when being steadied to obtain cover behind JUMBO HAPPINESS.
Passing the 800 Metres, GRADE ONE was left racing wide and without cover.
Close to the finishing line, BIG FORTUNE was awkwardly placed outside FANTASY.
A veterinary inspection of SHOUSON, HARDLY SWEARS, VERY SWEET ORANGE and KUNG FU FIGHTER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
HIGHLAND FORTUNE and FANTASY were sent for sampling.

Additional Veterinary Reports from Sha Tin Racemeeting on 31 May 2020 Subsequent official veterinary inspections (without endoscopy) of SOCCER MASTER, BUNDLE OF ENERGY, KWAICHUNG BROTHERS, SHANGHAI RUSKY, WINNING DREAMER, FABULOUS EIGHT, QUADRUPLE DOUBLE, RACING FIGHTER, UNIQUE TREASURE, HINYUEN SWIFTNESS, BRIGHT KID, SUPERB DADDY, SUPER RED DRAGON, MCMUNIGAL, BULLISH GLORY, GOOD DAYS, BEAUTY AMIGO, FLYING SWORD, KA YING STAR, SOUTHERN LEGEND, FANTASTIC SHOW, MARVEL DRAGON, CRAIG'S STAR, LUCKY EXPRESS, MR CROISSANT and ALL IN MIND revealed no apparent abnormality.

Firming favourite Highland Fortune kept on nicely after hitting the front near the 150m following a handy run on the fence to open his win account at start eight. Fantasy kept on well to just edge Island Shine for second after slotting nicely one off in third from a wide gate. It was a solid first effort over the track carrying top weight. Island Shine just failed to get second after being held up for a run until pulling off the fence travelling midfield at 200m. He's racing well. Smart Leader ran on well from behind midfield to finish a close fourth. He doesn't know how to produce a bad run over this Valley trip. Big Fortune found a few just too smart after getting into the open with three wider out soon after straightening following a one-off run ahead of midfield. It was another honest effort after filling the frame in his past two starts over this trip. Grade One produced only a mild bid after a wide and without cover run in midfield. He had an excuse.
