Racing Incident Report
Race Three: (771) - PENG CHAU HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters
SOLAR POWER was slow to begin.
ROSSE SCARPE shifted out at the start and bumped GLENEALY PALS.
From a wide barrier, DIAMOND STAR was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
From a wide barrier, ALLOY KING was also steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.
When being steadied to obtain cover, ALLOY KING raced greenly and proved very difficult to settle.
Near the 950 Metres, DIAMOND STAR got its head on the side and shifted in abruptly despite the efforts of its rider and consequently became unbalanced.
Passing the 900 Metres, ALLOY KING, which continued to race greenly, got its head up when awkwardly placed behind HERO STAR.
After the 900 Metres, REWARDING TOGETHER momentarily raced in restricted room inside GALLANT LEGACY which shifted in.
REWARDING TOGETHER consequently shifted out marginally, resulting in HERO STAR becoming unbalanced when forced out.
Near the 850 Metres, SOLAR POWER was awkwardly placed close to the heels of DAZZLING FEELING.
At the entrance to the Straight, ANGEL OF MY EYES was awkwardly placed outside HERO STAR which was taken out by REWARDING TOGETHER.
Close to the finishing line, GALLANT LEGACY was awkwardly placed inside the heels of REWARDING TOGETHER which was racing tight inside HERO STAR which shifted in away from ANGEL OF MY EYES.
Because of this, GALLANT LEGACY was not able to be ridden out all the way to the end of the race.
MIGHTY VALOR, ANGEL OF MY EYES and HERO STAR were sent for sampling.

Punted late Angel Of My Eyes finished very well when balancing up to just mow down Hero Star following a one-off run better than midfield for a second-up win. Hero Star did everything right but get the win after hitting the front 100m out following a prominent run. He's a winning waiting to happen following back-to-back seconds. Favourite Mighty Valor grudgingly gave way to finish level for third after working a bit to lead passing the 900m from gate 14. Rewarding Together got up to dead-heat for third following a prominent. He's made a nice impression in both starts. Gallant Legacy kept plugging away to dead-heat for third after being hard ridden to hold a spot behind the leader from a tricky gate. He rarely produces a bad run over this trip. Super Kin got going late for a minor cheque after a three-deep run behind midfield. Dazzling Feeling closed off all right after making his run behind midfield on the fence. It was a pleasing debut effort.
