Racing Incident Report
Race Six: (163) - TIU YUE YUNG HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1650Meters
PARTY EVERYDAY began awkwardly, shifted out and bumped SKYEY SUPREME.
LONDON LUCKYSTAR shifted out at the start, resulting in UNITE SPIRIT being hampered and in turn being taken out onto URBAN DANCER which became unbalanced.
From the outside barriers, JOLLY FOREVER, OWNERS' STAR and CHAIRMAN LO were all shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
After the 1300 Metres, PARTY EVERYDAY travelled keenly and was awkwardly placed behind URBAN DANCER.
Shortly after entering the Straight, DOUBLE TAKE shifted in towards the rail and proved reluctant to shift out.
K Teetan (PARTY EVERYDAY) dropped his whip passing the 150 Metres.
After the race, Z Purton stated that URBAN DANCER made a loud breathing noise at the 100 Metres which indicated to him that the horse may have been holding its breath prior to this.
A veterinary inspection of URBAN DANCER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

SKYEY SUPREME, PARTY EVERYDAY and DOUBLE TAKE were sent for sampling.

Party Everyday just out-finished Double Take to salute following a midfield run on the fence. The win was forthcoming following seconds in two other starts this term. Punted late, Double Take got going in the last 100m to finish a close second following a perfect run on the back of the speed. He was able to improve on a pair of fifths to start the term following a Class Five win in June. Skyey Supreme just got tired in the dying stages after getting his own way in front. He just found a couple too good on this occasion. Unite Spirit ran on well from towards the rear to fill the frame but was well behind the top three. London Luckystar came up one-paced following a one-off run in midfield. He had his chance. The sensationally backed Party Genius was in retreat mode rounding the final bend following a pace-stalking run. Chung Wah Spirit came up flat travelling behind midfield on the fence carrying 10 pounds more. It was a surprisingly flat performance.
