Even-money favourite Killer Bee really let down over the last 100m from midfield to nail Mighty Valor in the final few strides for a second win from three starts. He's got a bright future. Leader Mighty Valor was still three lengths on top at the 300m but found one too smart in the end. He clearly has the tools to score shortly if they can keep him sound. Namjong Sings stayed on well for third after a wide with cover run better than midfield. It was another honest performance following a win three starts back. Speedy Mouse ran on steadily to finish a non-threatening fourth after peeling into the open three deep with cover behind midfield rounding the final bend following a tardy break. He's naturally acclimatising in his four starts. Punted late Dublin Star ran on steadily without menacing after getting held up briefly upon straightening following a rail run behind midfield. He does appear from his pat few runs to be on his mark. Trust Me came up one-paced over the final 150m after tracking the leader along the fence. He's had a good campaign but does appear from his past few to be on his mark following a win in mid-February. Super Win Dragon ran on without menacing from the rear of the field. He'll need more time.

Racing Incident Report

Race Seven: (658) - BALSAMINE HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters

SPEEDY MOUSE lifted its front feet off the ground as the start was effected and began only fairly.

POWER KOEPP was hampered at the start when bumped by KILLER BEE which shifted out.

From wide barriers, SUPER WIN DRAGON and IMA SINGLE MAN were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

From a wide barrier, LIFELINE VISION was steadied in the early stages to obtain a position with cover.

Then passing the 1100 Metres, LIFELINE VISION got its head up as POWER KOEPP improved its position inside of LIFELINE VISION as that horse continued to be steadied.

LIFELINE VISION again got its head up when travelling keenly after obtaining cover behind NAMJONG SINGS near the 1000 Metres.

Passing the 1100 Metres, POWER KOEPP commenced to travel very keenly when being steadied in an attempt to obtain cover.

POWER KOEPP then continued to travel keenly and after the 1100 Metres was allowed to improve into a forward position.

POWER KOEPP however travelled wide and without cover throughout the race.

Approaching the 900 Metres, SPEEDY MOUSE commenced to travel keenly and got its head up when very awkwardly placed close to the heels of DUBLIN STAR.

Making the turn near the 900 Metres, TRUST ME, which was proving difficult to settle, shifted out away from the heels of MIGHTY VALOR.

Passing the 700 Metres, LIFELINE VISION was taken wider and without cover by SPEEDY MOUSE which shifted out away from the heels of KILLER BEE.

KILLER BEE was held up for clear running until passing the 300 Metres.

A veterinary inspection of IMA SINGLE MAN immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

KILLER BEE and MIGHTY VALOR were sent for sampling.
