Racing Incident Report
Race One: (693) - KAT O HOI HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1650Meters
BEAUTY GLORY (Z Purton) began awkwardly, shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of WEALTHY DELIGHT.
After this, BEAUTY GLORY was ridden along to obtain a forward position.
After the race, Z Purton stated that BEAUTY GLORY travelled too keenly in the lead and because of this was not able to finish the race off strongly.
He said having regard to the manner in which BEAUTY GLORY travelled tonight, he did suggest to connections that they consider dropping the horse back in distance at its future starts.
A veterinary inspection of BEAUTY GLORY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
MOONLIGHT VISTA began awkwardly and then when being steadied to obtain cover shifted in on jumping and bumped DR WINNING.
A short distance after the start, GIFT OF LIFELINE was shifted across behind runners to obtain a position closer to the rail.
BEAUTY GLORY, MY ECSTATIC and WORLD FAMOUS were sent for sampling.

My Ecstatic kept on strongly after assuming the lead 200m out after stalking the genuine pace of Beauty Glory for a second win from his past three starts and first attempting the Valley 1,650m. He continues to raise his game and may have the tools to win another. World Famous stayed on well for second after a one-out, one-back run. He was able to back up a win last start in Class Four. Gift Of Lifeline got going from near last and widest out to fill a placing. He can bob up now and then over this Valley trip. The late-fancied Ready Player One was overhauled late for a placing after a one-off trip in midfield. He's not easy to get right. Favourite Beauty Glory knocked up in the last 100m after easily getting his own way in front from the 1,500m following a tardy start. He lacks the desire to win. Dr Winning ran on from towards the rear to just miss the frame. He's had a lot of racing and may be in need of a break. Wealthy Delight found nothing when push came to shove after a box-seat run. He's gone off the ball in his past four starts after filling the frame in back-to-back runs. Moonlight Vista was always out the back and never a danger. The step up in distance failed to answer any questions.
