Recap by phillip woo

Flaming Passion made it back-to-back wins, getting all the favours in the box seat and keeping on gamely after hitting the lead 160m out. It was a carbon copy of his last-start victory from another good draw. Favourite Galvanic found one too good after working three wide to, eventually, sit one off the fence in second 900m out. It was a good run following his stable change from Jamie Richards to Caspar Fownes. Topegi dashed nicely to snare a placing after biding his time at the rear from the outside barrier. His switch to Happy Valley was not an issue after he had shown potential to place in two of seven Sha Tin starts. Juneau Flash ran on well from fourth last on the rail to fill a top-four spot. It was another honest effort in the class. One For All was on his tippy toes 100m out after showing superior gate speed from barrier eight to lead. His heavy weight took its toll on his attempt to make it four wins on the trot. Mr Valiant ran on steadily from midfield without threatening the placegetters. Specked late, Sure Joyful ran on from near last when it was too late. He is itching for a downgrade.

Racing Incident Report

Race Six: (746) - WONG NAI CHUNG GAP HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters

JUNEAU FLASH jumped only fairly.

ONE FOR ALL also jumped only fairly and then shortly after the start was crowded by G ONE EXCELLENT which shifted out, resulting in ONE FOR ALL making contact with SURE JOYFUL which was checked when crowded between ONE FOR ALL and G LINER.

G ONE EXCELLENT lost its right front plate at the start.

From the outside barrier, TOGEPI was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Approaching the 1000 Metres, MR VALIANT, which was inclined to race keenly, was steadied to avoid FLAMING PASSION (M Chadwick) which shifted in and away from ONE FOR ALL.

M Chadwick was advised to exercise more care.

After this incident, MR VALIANT continued to race keenly for some distance thereafter.

From after the 700 Metres, G ONE EXCELLENT was obliged to race wide and without cover.

After the race L Ferraris (ONE FOR ALL) stated that with his mount carrying additional weight tonight, when placed under pressure in the Home Straight, ONE FOR ALL did not respond strongly to his riding although he was not too disappointed with its performance.

A veterinary inspection of ONE FOR ALL immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

After the race, GALVANIC was noted to have sustained a laceration to the right front pastern.

A veterinary inspection of G ONE EXCELLENT and G LINER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

FLAMING PASSION and GALVANIC were sent for sampling.
