Recap by phillip woo

Punted late, My Intelligent raced prominently and took control 50m out to post the third win of his career and his second success over 1,200m at Happy Valley. Downgraded after leaving Peter Ho Leung for Chris So Wai-yin, he is one for one for his new trainer. Fancied late in betting, Miracles jumped best of all from gate one and gave a cheeky sight. He is still a maiden but he has four seconds from his 16 starts. Favourite Vamos got going late from midfield to finish a close third. He had his chance but was not good enough. Valhalla dashed late for fourth after travelling one off the fence worse than midfield. His awkward barrier and weight rise took its toll. Fingers Crossed got going late through the middle, making his run three from the rear to be the next best. He has needed his three outings this term. Our Class Act ran on from towards the rear without threatening the placegetters. It was an OK effort for his new handler, Cody Mo Wai-kit. Easy Two got going late after settling second last from his wide draw. He may be looking for a step up in distance. Specked late, Peak To Peak was a non-factor after missing the kick.
