Recap by phillip woo

Punted late, Multidarling reeled in early favourite Act Of Faith 80m out from better than midfield for a maiden win at his 12th start. He had been around the mark in two of three other starts this term and was stepping out off a career low in the ratings. Act Of Faith found one too smart after poking his head in front 150m out after a dream run. He's been racing well without winning while carrying big weights in his four starts this term. Golden Luck ran on steadily to fill a placing 50m out after saving ground in midfield. It was another honest performance. Healthy Healthy was on his tippy toes late after turning the final bend just over a length on top after dictating the run from gate nine. The rise in weight took its toll following a win last time out. Winning Heart made headway late near the inside to finish next best without threatening the top four after biding his time second last following a tardy start. It was his best effort from four starts following a downgrade. Colonel faded after a pace-stalking run. He's still trying to find his legs after three outings this term. Telecom Spirit was never on the track in midfield from gate 12.
