Racing Incident Report
Race Four : (282) - PO SHEK WU HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1000Meters
Horse No 1 BABY CRYSTAL (H081) C Y Ho Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 2 FLYING DRAGON (E360) K Teetan Approaching the 400 Metres was steadied and shifted in to avoid the heels of LIFELINE EXPRESS which also shifted in to improve.
After the race, K Teetan reported that his mount proved difficult to ride when it hung out for a major part of the race.
Horse No 3 GREENWICH (H328) C L Chau After the race, C L Chau reported that his mount travelled well until put under pressure near the 500 Metres where it failed to respond to his riding.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
The performance of GREENWICH was considered to be disappointing.
Before being allowed to race again, GREENWICH will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 4 CRAZY TREASURE (J063) L Ferraris After the race, L Ferraris reported that his mount, which was having its first race start, would derive benefit from today's performance.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of mucus in the horse's trachea.
Horse No 5 FUN ELITE (J042) L Hewitson Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 7 MANYTHANKS FOREVER (J065) J McDonald Slow to begin.
Horse No 9 SPONGE BABE (H350) M L Yeung Slow to begin.
Horse No 10 WINNING GOLD (H461) K De Melo Slow to begin.
Horse No 12 PRINCE CHISWICK (G388) M F Poon After the race, M F Poon reported that his mount over-raced in the early stages and felt that this attributed to its performance.
He added, in his opinion, his mount would be better suited if able to be ridden with some cover.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 13 MR GOOD VIBES (H180) A Badel Slow to begin and was then tightened for room between PERFECTO MOMENTS and VALIANT ELEGANCE which shifted out.

Fun Elite drew clear after hitting the lead 150m out traveling handy near the far side for a smart debut win with bags of money for him late in betting. He had shown good progress in his final two of four trials. Favourite Baby Crystal kept on gamely after dictating the run on the stands side wearing blinkers from gate 11. He should come on for the run after a 90-day break. Lifeline Express ran on well to fill a placing from better than midfield in the centre of the track. It was an encouraging debut performance. Valiant Elegance kept plugging away for fourth after prompting the pace from gate seven. Flying Dragon made some ground to finish next best from behind midfield on the far side. It was another honest performance. Ace Talent made some ground late without threatening from behind midfield near the grandstand side. Newcomer Manythanks Forever produced a grinding effort from midfield on the outside fence. He will be a better prospect when stepping out over a longer trip. Greenwich weakened after vying for the early lead from gate 11. He's disappointed with a return to Class Four in his past two starts.
