Odds-on favourite Galaxy Patch drew clear after taking over from Gummy Gummy near the 100m following a rails run from behind midfield to remain perfect four times on turf from five Sha Tin runs over 1,200m. He has points in hand. Gummy Gummy ran into a smart one after finding the front 220m out following a prominent run. It was a solid first-up effort this term following a fetlock injury and he's equally if not better on the dirt. Lucky Encounter was doing his best work late for third without threatening the top two after a wide trip from midfield. He was resuming after a last start defeat with blood in his trachea. Bundle Of Charm just lost third after a speed-tracking run. It was another honest effort. Ping Hai Galaxy was stopping 100m out after setting a genuine tempo from gate three. He's on his mark. Keefy only plodded after having the leader fall back on his lap following a box seat run. Winning Icey never threatened from the rear of the field. He prefers the Valley.
