Racing Incident Report
Race Seven : (385) - LOCKHART HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 SUPERB CAPITALIST (H092) Y L Chung When questioned, Apprentice Y L Chung stated that he was unable to cross ONE FOR ALL and CELESTIAL COLOURS in the early stages which resulted in SUPERB CAPITALIST racing wide and without cover.
He said throughout the event SUPERB CAPITALIST raced keenly and hung out and as a result made the Home Turn wide.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
The racing manners of SUPERB CAPITALIST were considered unacceptable.
Before being allowed to race again, SUPERB CAPITALIST will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial around a bend in Hong Kong and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 2 HARMONY N BLESSED (E061) K C Leung Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 LIGHTNING BOLT (G130) A Badel From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 5 CELESTIAL COLOURS (H362) Z Purton After the race, Z Purton reported that his mount made a respiratory noise during the running of the event and gave ground in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
The performance of CELESTIAL COLOURS was considered to be disappointing as compared to its previous race starts.
Before being allowed to race again, CELESTIAL COLOURS will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 6 O'LINER (H264) H Bowman After the race, H Bowman stated that his mount was obliged to race three wide throughout the event and as a consequence did not finish the race off.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 7 NEVER TOO SOON (E434) K De Melo Near the 150 Metres obtained a tight run to the inside of ONE FOR ALL and as a result raced in restricted room for some distance.
Horse No 9 ACT OF FAITH (H082) A Atzeni Shortly after the start shifted out and away from GRATEFUL HEART before being corrected by its rider.
Horse No 10 NICCONI COUNTY (G208) K Teetan Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 11 JUMBO FORTUNE (G195) A Hamelin Jumped only fairly.

Nicconi County just edged Harmony N Blessed after a thrilling battle over the last 100m. He was suited by the fast pace with a return to his favourite Valley 1,200m. Harmony N Blessed wouldn't go down without a fight after moving to the lead 200m out following a prominent run on the fence. He's always a chance sprinting over this course and at this level. Jumbo Fortune came from last and widest out to fill a placing. It was a return to form after four non-threatening runs. Act Of Faith just won the battle for fourth after making his run five back and one off the fence. He's gone OK in his past three starts at this level following a win in a lower grade. Excellent Peers nearly filled the frame after a rails run from midfield. He rarely produces a bad run but still requires rating relief. Grateful Heart ran on without threatening near the inside after a patient ride one from the rear. Never Too Soon came up one paced over the last 100m. Favourite Celestial Colours was already beaten when getting dragged back by the leader after chasing the hot pace of One For All from gate 10.
