Newcomer Super Joy N Fun reclaimed the lead from Divine Era 200m out and just held off the fast-finishing favourite Beauty Infinity in the closing stages. It was a very good win and he clearly has further improvement up his sleeve. Beauty Infinity ran on nicely with one rival wider out to finish a close second after travelling one off the fence behind midfield. He's a nice type of horse who will be leaving the grade in no time. Beau Gosse stayed on for third without threatening the top two after a prominent run on the fence. It was a better performance stepping back to 1,200m. Travel Golf kept on at one pace after getting posted wide near the speed. He is an honest horse but has trouble winning races. Northern Beast made headway late to grab fifth after travelling on the rail behind midfield. He went OK on his first run at the Valley stepping back in distance. Po On Way ran on without threatening after settling four from the rear. It was a typical performance from him. Punted late, Brave Witness only plodded after travelling one off the fence in midfield.

Race Four : (401) - KOWLOON PARK HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters

Horse No 1 BEAUTY INFINITY (H377) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 3 TRAVEL GOLF (H063) B Avdulla Over the final 150 Metres lay in and proved difficult to ride out.

Horse No 4 YOUTH POWER (H358) K C Leung Jumped only fairly and shortly after the start was crowded by OUR LUCKY GLORY which shifted out and away from SUPER JOY N FUN.

YOUTH POWER was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages from a wide barrier.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 5 RUNNING BOY (J041) K De Melo Jumped awkwardly and then from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

After the race, K De Melo reported that his mount, which was having its first race start, raced greenly throughout the event.

Horse No 6 SUPER JOY N FUN (J164) C L Chau Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 7 JOYFUL FRIENDSHIP (H295) E C W Wong When being shifted across behind runners from the outside barrier in the early stages commenced to race ungenerously, got its head up and became unbalanced.

Horse No 8 BRAVE WITNESS (H425) L Hewitson Approaching the 1000 Metres was crowded by TRAVEL GOLF which shifted in and away from SUPER JOY N FUN despite the efforts of its rider B Avdulla to prevent his mount from shifting in.

Horse No 9 DIVINE ERA (D507) K Teetan After the race, K Teetan reported that he attempted to allow SUPER JOY N FUN to cross his mount in the middle stages to obtain cover, however, DIVINE ERA raced too keenly and as a result maintained its position to the inside of that runner.

He added DIVINE ERA failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight and gave ground.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 12 BEAU GOSSE (G389) M L Yeung Near the 950 Metres lay out when racing tight to the inside of TRAVEL GOLF and as a result was steadied away from the heels of that runner.
