Recap by phillip woo

Flying Silver defied a tough run without cover the entire trip for a fourth career win over the Valley 1,800m. He took off 800m out from towards the rear to lead near the 200m marker and was well rated. Gold Tack came from last and widest out to win a blanket finish for the minors. He relished the rise in trip after going OK in back-to-back Valley 1,650m runs. Running Ahead lost second late after biding his time one off the rail from behind midfield. He relished a step back to the course and distance of a fourth two runs ago. Pakistan Friend ran on nicely with one wider out but just missed a placing after biding his time one from the rear. He was rated a point below a Sha Tin win in September. Punted late, Dragon Star gradually faded after having to work for the lead from gate four. He didn't get the easiest of runs and was stepping up to 1,800m for the first time. Invincible Missile made some late ground near the inside without threatening after a patient ride three from the rear. Turtle Again only plodded after settling on the rail in midfield. He has found it harder following a rise in class in his past three starts.
