Race Six : (632) - CHANTILLY HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1650Meters
Horse No 1 APOLAR FIGHTER (J169) E C W Wong Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 2 KYEEMA (J055) B Thompson Jumped only fairly.
Near the 1400 Metres was bumped when crowded.
Horse No 3 FIGHTING MACHINE (J015) Z Purton From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 4 JUMBO LEGEND (G266) C Y Ho Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 5 GALLANT CROWN (D359) K C Leung A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 6 KASA PAPA (G312) H Bowman Bounded on jumping and lost ground.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea.
Before being allowed to race again, KASA PAPA will be subjected to an official veterinary examination..
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 7 PACKING WISHER (H448) C L Chau Near the 1400 Metres was crowded between KYEEMA and GALLANT CROWN (K C Leung) which shifted in.
K C Leung was reprimanded and advised to ensure he leaves comfortable racing room for runners to his inside.
Horse No 8 HARRY'S HERO (H332) M Chadwick Jumped awkwardly and was then bumped by KYEEMA.
Horse No 9 NORTHERN BEAST (H233) A Badel Shifted in on jumping and was bumped.
Raced wide and without cover until near the 550 Metres where it was allowed to stride forward to race outside the lead.

Horse No 11 TO INFINITY (G277) Y L Chung Bumped at the start by NORTHERN BEAST which shifted in.
Approaching the 400 Metres became held up for clear running behind KYEEMA and leaving the 400 Metres was steadied when disappointed between HARRY'S HERO and KYEEMA which continued to give ground.

Market drifter Jumbo Legend came with bold run to overhaul Joyful Prosperity in the final few strides after turning the final bend three from the rear and widest out. It was his third career win and first over the Valley 1,650m from 25 starts. Joyful Prosperity did everything right but could not get the win after moving to the lead 100m out. He continues to race well without winning. Punted late, Packing Wisher stayed on well for third after stalking the pace. He was able to build on a pleasing sixth at his initial Valley 1,650m run two runs ago. To Infinity ran on reasonably well to spice up the quartet after biding his time three from the rear. It was one of his better runs from seven starts after a win in December. Returning to Class Four following a win, Northern Beast kept on evenly after working hard to share the lead 550m out. Favourite Kasa Papa ran on without threatening after settling third last from a tricky gate. The change in stables didn't have the desired result after a near win last start. Harry's Hero just plodded after settling on the rail in midfield.
