Racing Incident Report
Race Three: (374) - KENNEDY HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters
BRAVE BABY began awkwardly and then was taken out marginally by FANTASTIC FABIO which resulted in BRAVE BABY bumping TREASURE CHEST.
BRAVE BABY then became unbalanced and shifted out further, resulting in TREASURE CHEST again being bumped and taken out across MR DARTHVEGAR which, after beginning only fairly, was then checked when crowded for room inside SWOT TROOPERS WIND which was hampered after being bumped by MR DARTHVEGAR.
From a wide barrier, SIMPLY FLUKE was steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.
After the 900 Metres, LADY FIRST commenced to travel very keenly and was steadied away from the heels of E GENERATION for some distance.
Approaching the 500 Metres, LADY FIRST was awkwardly placed inside the heels of PLAY TO WIN as a result of both horses shifting marginally.
Approaching the 200 Metres, TREASURE CHEST shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of PLAY TO WIN.
TREASURE CHEST was then awkwardly placed outside BRAVE BABY as that horse gave ground passing the 200 Metres.
Near the 50 Metres, THE ONE raced tight inside THE SHOW which shifted in away from SIMPLY FLUKE.
A veterinary inspection of BRAVE BABY and PLAY TO WIN immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
LADY FIRST, MASTER ALBERT and SIMPLY FLUKE were sent for sampling.

Master Albert quickened nicely to grab victory 50m out after a one-off run in midfield. He was suited by the pace but the writing had been on the wall. Plunged to nearly jump favourite Simply Fluke came from last at the head of the straight to grab long-time leader Fantastic Fabio in the last stride for second. He's a winner waiting to happen. Fantastic Fabio gave a cheeky sight after setting a good pace. He'll get away with one shortly. Favourite Lady First ran on steadily without ever looking a chance following a handy run on the fence. He's in the right grade again but the big weight anchored him. The Show ran on well after slotting behind midfield with cover from a wide gate. Old-timer's been running better of late and can bob up at any moment. The One ran on without menacing after making his run towards the rear from a wide gate. Specked late Play To Win faded after a prominent run. He's disappointed in his past four starts.
