Racing Incident Report
Race Two: (322) - PATERSON HANDICAP - Class 5 - 1800Meters
FOXHUNTER WAY shifted in at the start and bumped THIS IS CHARISMA which in turn shifted in and bumped REGENCY MASTER.
MURRAY'S PARTNERS was slow to begin.
From the outside barrier, YOUNG EXPLORER was steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners to obtain cover.
Approaching the 1700 Metres, MURRAY'S PARTNERS was checked away from the heels of REGENCY MASTER which, after shifting in, was straightened by its rider before being bumped by THIS IS CHARISMA (L Hewitson) which shifted in.
L Hewitson was severely reprimanded and told to ensure that he is alert to other runners when shifting ground and reacts as quickly as possible to provide runners to his inside with comfortable racing room.
Passing the 400 Metres, SUPERB DADDY was awkwardly placed behind SUNNY BABY when held up for clear running behind that horse and after the 150 Metres was shifted out away from the heels of FOXHUNTER WAY which lay out under pressure.
Passing the 300 Metres, MURRAY'S PARTNERS was shifted in away from the heels of REGENCY MASTER.
A veterinary inspection of MURRAY'S PARTNERS and JUBILATION immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
SUNNY BABY and LOYAL AMBITION were sent for sampling.

Sunny Baby drew clear after hitting the front 100m out after a perfect run three back on the fence for a second win this season at his first go over 1,800m. He had run well in defeat from outside gates in his past three starts and took full advantage of gate three. Loyal Ambition kept on gamely for second after getting his own way in front. He relished a move to a 10-pound claimer. Superb Daddy ran on well to nearly take second after biding his time just beyond midfield on the fence. It was another honest effort. Foxhunter Way kept on reasonably well after a prominent run on the fence. He mixes his form but seems to act best over the Valley 1,800m. Owners' Star got going late down the outside to finish next best after a one-off trip from behind midfield. It was another pleasing effort by the eight-year-old. Jubilation had his chance after chasing the speed one off in third. He found it harder carrying more weight after a win and two placings. Regency Master ran on without menacing from towards the rear. Murray's Partners never landed a blow from the rear of the field. He disappointed after an improved effort.
