Race Two : (214) - CAMERON HANDICAP - Class 5 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 LUCKY FUN (E013) K Teetan After the race, K Teetan reported that his mount changed stride after entering the Home Straight and bumped with CALL ME TEDDY.
He added that LUCKY FUN failed to finish the race off after this point.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea.
Before being allowed to race again, LUCKY FUN will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 3 STRIVE FOR GLORY (D186) K De Melo Jumped awkwardly, shifted out and made contact with SUPER JOY.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 AUGUST MOON (D409) K C Leung Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 5 CHARMING STEED (E494) E C W Wong Despite being ridden along in the early stages failed to show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position.
Horse No 6 NOBLE ONE (G278) A Badel Jumped awkwardly and became unbalanced.
Horse No 7 MIRACLES (G083) Z Purton Jumped only fairly and was obliged to be ridden along in the early stages to hold a forward position.
Near the 250 Metres was shifted to the inside of HAPPY TANGO to obtain a narrow run to that runner's inside.
Horse No 9 ALL IS READY (G042) L Ferraris Jumped awkwardly.

Horse No 10 CALL ME TEDDY (G233) M L Yeung Near the 250 Metres was momentarily crowded between LUCKY FUN and SUPER JOY (M Chadwick) which shifted out.
M Chadwick was advised to exercise more care.
Horse No 11 SUPER JOY (G251) M Chadwick Bumped at the start.

Strive For Glory ran on nicely after a one-off run from behind midfield to take control 100m out for a third career win and first on the surface from 41 starts. Super Joy ran on nicely to grab second after struggling early on to stay in touch at the rear. It was a vastly improved effort at his 13th start. Miracles plugged on to just hold third after getting all favours in the box seat. He can produce a good run now and then but has trouble winning. Charming Steed ran on nicely through the middle to fill the frame after biding his time three from the rear. It was another honest effort despite a rare appearance on the dirt surface. All Is Ready came up one-paced over the final 50m after getting every chance following a prominent run. The rise in weight took its toll following a win. Punted late Happy Tango weakened over the last 100m after working hard to find the front 950m out from gate 11. Noble One ran on without threatening after settling second last from gate 12. Lucky Fun never got into the act after making his run two from the rear.
