Recap by phillip woo

Punted late Valiant Elegance just held on by a lip after moving to the lead 500m out following a pace-stalking run outside Happy Tango for an eighth career win at his 50th start. He was able to build on a win last start in Class Five. Hinokami Kagura ran on nicely after a handy run on the fence to just miss. He's a winner waiting to happen on this surface. Everyone's Victory stayed on much better for third after a one-off trip from behind midfield. It was clearly his best run from seven starts this term. Solid Shalaa came from near last and widest out to just finish out of the placings. It was another honest performance. Favourite Must Go kept on all right after a wide without cover trip from midfield. Happy Tango knocked up late after dictating more than half the race from gate nine. He's a better prospect in Class Five. Plunged late Smart Leader ran on without threatening after a rail run from behind midfield. He just isn't good enough in this grade. Second favourite Robot Knight disappointed after a one-out, one-back run. Miracles refused to load and was withdrawn by order of the stewards.
