Recap by phillip woo

Lucy In The Sky drew clear after hitting the front 100m out after a speed-tracking run for a first win at his third start. He progressed nicely on each of his three starts. Glory Elite grudgingly gave way after dictating the run from gate five. He is ready to salute after filling the frame in his past three of four starts. Favourite Divano ran on steadily to finish third without threatening the top two following a one-off trip from midfield. It was a good run carrying top weight following a debut win in March. Happy For All came from towards the rear to fill the frame. He was able to back up a closing second last time out. Handsome Bomb made a mild bid after a rails run from midfield. He has run with merit in each of his three starts. Lifeline Express made some ground to finish next best after a one-off trip from behind midfield. He couldn't let down on the wet track. Spicy Gold made some ground without threatening after having his momentum checked 270m out travelling behind midfield on the fence. Golden Darci made some ground late from the rear of the field. Plunged late Island Golden faded after a one-out, one-back trip.
